Too much of a good thing can be bad for you, which is why 95 Keerom is only opening for lunch once a week!

After years of only serving dinner at his original 95 Keerom restaurant, chef-proprietor Giorgio Nava, has decided to open the restaurant for Friday lunch to offer an authentic Italian lunch experience.

Known for uncompromising quality, 95 Keerom has been serving authentic Italian dishes that have stood the test of time for the past 15 years.

Taking his lead from classic Milanese cuisine, Chef Giorgio has delighted Cape Town palates with real Italian food at 95 Keerom since 2003.

This is old school Italian at its absolute best - delicious, honest food that lets all the ingredients on the plate speak for themselves.

Whats on the menu

Chef Giorgio was one of the first to introduce a wide selection of fresh and seared beef and fish carpaccio to Cape Town diners, starters that still feature prominently on the 95 Keerom à la carte menu.

In addition to delicious antipasti, fresh seasonal salads, velvet textured hand-made pasta, and various fish options, carnivores are spoilt for choice with a string of expertly prepared beef, game, lamb and pork cuts, including the Italian Fiorentina T-Bone.

The stars on the dessert menu include Chef Giorgio’s famous molten white and dark chocolate fondant, Italian chocolate mousse, and delicate meringue wrapped in luscious Marsala Zabaglione crème. His home-made Italian ice cream is another 95 Keerom treasure.

All meals are served with freshly baked focaccia, crunchy parmesan encrusted bread sticks and ciabatta made from a 150 year old “mother” dough from a famous bakery in Milan.

95 Keerom is situated at 95 Keerom Street and is open for dinner from Monday to Saturday, and Friday lunch.
